Product Description

?

This heavy-duty pressure switch helps regulate when an air compressor starts and stops by controlling pressure between roughly 100 PSI and 135 PSI. Built with a four-port design and a convenient unloader valve, it replaces a worn or faulty switch that may cause the compressor to run inconsistently, leak air, or fail to shut off properly. Designed for select compressor models, it offers a reliable, easy-to-install solution for restoring safe, consistent pressure control.

Make sure the reason for the problem is the pressure switch. If so, get the right pressure switch for the repair and not a universal pressure switch. It helped me to cut off a small amount of the air hose to provide a good surface for the quick connect fitting to bit into. Make sure you look at the load/line demarcations for the wiring. They were different from the switch I replaced. If you get them backwards they will blow the breaker. The load/line are embossed on the housing of the wiring block. Put on your glasses. Once installed the pressure switch worked as I expected and saved buying an new compressor. I will be using e-replacement parts again.

Removed faulty pressure switch. Replaced with new switch. rather simple repair if you watch how you removed original switch. Then removed the safety valve and installed the new one. Then replace the faulty pressure gauge.

I bought this compressor at an auction sale. They said it worked ok. When I got it home and plugged it in, air was leaking from the threads underneath the pressure switch. I took it apart and tried to fix it but it didn\'t work. Ordered the new one and got it within the week. It didn\'t come with instructions so I installed it the same wa y that the old one was hooked up to the electric connections. Blew a breaker when I plugged it in. Frustrating but double checked the connections with a picture of the original. Same thing, blew a breaker again. Finally realized the lines for power and the motor lines hooked up horizontal instead of vertically like the old switch. Working fine now.

Replaced the switch which requires removing the old one and transferring several parts off the old one onto the new one. Works great. Slightly different from the original but is better designed.

Exactly as the factory part it replaced. You do have to take the old fittings off and place on the new switch but that was super easy. Really an easy fix and works like a charm.
