Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.

The brew unit would not go into the home position. Brew unit would go all the way up and stay after machine was turned on. Unable to brew shots or steam.

The hall sensor is located on the bottom of the transmission assembly. You have to remove the transmission to replace it as far as I could tell. Remove the brew unit, remove the hex screw located behind. This is the screw that holds the transmission assembly in place. To remove the brew unit on from the back I did find it necessary to rem ove the screws mounting the water boiler so it could move out of the way. Once removed, observe the hall sensor board on bottom. Replace and route wires to the control board.

The connection mentioned in the parts was the connector on the output side of the water solenoid valve. Mine leaked causing the damage to the hall sensor.

The rear panel unscrews first, then the side panels slide back and off for access. The Hall sensor is located at the left front area. It is easiest to loosen the drive by unscrewing from the front, taking the two screws out from the center of the drive holder. There are two small screws that hold the small sensor board. Loosen and replace with the new board.. then follow the cable back to the location where it plugs into the board. Reposition the brew drive, and replace the screws. Replace the side panels, then the back panel. The machine then goes through itÆs movements flawlessly.

It took a while to troubleshoot the issue.
I was not able to test my old Hall Sensor to make sure it was broken, so I made a guess and purchased the replacement.
Obviously, the guess was derived from numerous observations and comparisons on what was available online.
Instructions were also taken several videos.
Shipment cost was a little high for such a small part.
