This brush assembly is an authentic Ryobi item, it is not an aftermarket imitation. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with circular saws and electric cultivator. This assembly includes (1) metal brush holder and (1) carbon brush with a lead wire and a spring attached. It is advised to replace both brushes at the same type. Please note, the hardware to secure this assembly is sold separately. Replacing this brush assembly is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver.

Parts were correct and the price was ok except shipping $5.50 was more than product $4.26. I know you try to make profit but shipping shouldn't be a profit center. $5.50 to mail a package that couldn't cost more than a dollar is too much.

Completely disassembled unit. Installed new bearings on new motor shaft using gentle taps with a hammer. Added extra grease to bearings. Replaced brushes. Grease all gears. Reassembled saw. Taking care to align laser.
