4-Removed old coil.
5-Feed coil wire through rubber grommet in engine housing.
6-Install new coil.

2 removed torx screws from cover
3 removed spark plug
4 removed spark plug boot and wire clip
5 removed cover to access coil
6 removed old coil
7 installed new coil using business card to gap between new coil and magneto
8 place boot over new plug wire that came on ... Read more new coil.pulling wire completely through boot
9 attach wire clip to plug wire end firmly
10 fished wire and clip back through boot (steps 9 and 10 are the most time consuming )
11 replace cover
12 replace plug and install boot on plug
13 pulled recoil rope and it started right up

2. Used multi-meter to check continuity of old coil to determine it was bad;
3. Removed casings from trimmer;
4. Removed spark plug cap and spring from old coil wire;
5. Pulled spark plug wire through rubber grommet;
6. Removed old coil;

8. Pushed spark plug wire through rubber grommet (a little light oil or silicone makes this easier);
9. Installed spring onto plug wire and slid cap onto plug wire;
