Lever Choke 530059399

1. Removed outer cover over carburetor and spark plug, 3 or 4 screws.
2. In my case I had to remove the air filter, loosen 2 nuts, remove one screw, wiggle a little, remove the accelerator cable, detach the fuel lines remembering which one goes where, then remove the carburetor carefully.
3. Insert the lever in to proper hole ... Read more that links to the choke valve. This is not trivial. very tight tolerances and care must be taken so that choke lever tab is not broken off nor damaged.
4. Reassemble, putting the carburetor back, reattaching the fuel lines, cable to the correct points, return the screw and nuts. This is a back and forth process for me, meaning I started the carburetor on a little, attached a line or two, then push on more, etc.
5. The replacement chock lever did not have notches that the old had. I need to figure out a way to get the lever to hold the choke the two positions used. Probably will try to notch with a dremel or related.
