This part is an OEM sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is intended to be used in chainsaws and brushcutters made by Husqvarna and Jonsered. The impulse pipe attaches to the bulkhead assembly next to the intake sleeve. This is a small rubber part and will need to be replaced if it becomes lost. The pipe is available as an individual replacement.
removed carb cover then removed air filter carb bolts and bulkhead bolts removed trigger linkage and choke linkage removed gas line impulse pipe and sleeve reinstalled in reverse order

Bulkhead was stripped out, which prevented carb being properly tightened
Removed air filter, carb w/ choke and throttle linkage. Next removed the three 4mm cap bolts securing existing bulkhead. Used a #12x2ö sheet metal screw to remove impulse pipe from cylinder base. Installed new impulse pipe into cylinder, and installed new bulkhead with the three cap bolts.reinstalled carb gasket, carb, air filter base and
... Read more linkage for choke and throttle. Installed air filter, reconnected fuel line, and reinstalled top cover on saw. Repair time approximately 45min start to finish. Work done on a Husqvarna 55.
