The gear that sets blade tension had 3 teeth break off and i couldn\'t release tension and had to back off the adjusting bolt which stripped it out.

I had to take off the tension assembly then remove the top cover to get to the gear with the broken teeth. The adjuster bolt sits on a slotted rack and pinion type assembly. The gear that moves the tensioning arm had three teeth break off and i had to replace that assembly also. Working like new now. I\'ve had this Powermatic bandsaw for 16 years and this is the first problem I\'ve had with the saw.
