Spindle lock pin broke

2) Remove four screws
3) Remove top cover
4) Put o-ring on pin and insert through hole
5) Put spring over pin (from top side )
6) Press cap onto pin
7) Reassemble
Grinder lock pin cap & spring disappeared

The button pressed to lock the wheel broke off, making the grinder unusable, (without button and spring the wheel lock could engage while grinder wheel was spinning, making it dangerous and unusable

2. Then placed spring and pin cap over pin.
3. After checking spring and pin cap aligned over pin I pressed with thumb to snap button over metal stub.
4. I wasnÆt able to snap in place.
5. Used a slotted screw driver over pin ca ... Read more p and tapped it lightly with a hammer, that snapped it in place.
6. Confirmed that grinder worked correctly by only locking wheel when pressed.
7. Done.
