This is an authentic Makita replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with angle grinders. The pin fits into the gearcase and is used to stop the spindle from rotating when changing the grinding disc. the bearing box, spindle, and bevel gear will need to be removed to install this item. A hex driver, small pick, and small-nose pliers may be needed to install this item. The pin is priced as a single item.
