This compression spring is a genuine Makita replacement part. It is sold individually. The special spring is commonly used to provide compression on the switch lever, please see model diagram for associative parts.

Switch lever was worn down on clip to hold open. Replaced lever, switch, spring, and wire sponge. Re-greased cogs and bearings and works like brand new.
