1. Removed housing to repair power cord and grommet.
2. Installed new power cord to trigger switch (fasten with screws to the switch)
3. Reinstall housing.
4. Remove base plate an installed new one.
Removed screws holding two halves together with torn screwdriver. Removed right angle drive at end of tool.
Unscrew terminals holding wires. Slip boot off of old cord. Put boot on new cord. Attach terminals to new cord. Attach new cord terminals to tool terminals.
Put halves of tool back together. Install screws. Install right

Remove back cover of jig saw, remove cord clamp, remove cord from switch, remove cord relief from old cord and place on new cord, wire new cord into switch, replace the cord clamp. Then attach the back cover to the saw. Obtain a long narrow screwdriver and thread the clamp screw down into the blade holding tube.
