This is a genuine OEM approved replacement part designed for bench grinders. It helps to protect user and the users eyes from dust and debris while the grinder is in use. This part is made out of clear plastic with metal. To replace this eyeshield you would need a screwdriver to secure it to the unit. This set includes two (2) shields per order.
1. Removed the eye shield bracket from the grinder.
2. Removed the two screws holding the broken shield to the mounting bracket.
3. Attached the new shield and backing plate to the mounting bracket with the screws provided.
4. Reattached the eye shield mounting bracket to the grinder.
Replaced the eye shields.
Only issue I had was when I received the eye shield kit there was only one shield. I assumed the ôkitö would include both.
So I called to order another shield for the other wheel. I explained my mistake and they waived the shipping cost for the second order.
