I SEE THE REPLACEMENT SPINDLES ARE NOT THREADED. WHY? AND HOW WOULD A DIY GET THEM THREADED? WHY SELL PARTS THAT ARE NOT PROPERLY MADE?

Hello Frank, Thank you for the question. Troy-Bilt has made updates tot he Spindles and they no longer make then threaded. They suggest using the Self Tapping Screws to thread the Spindles when installing. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, we would suggest calling the manufacturer of the appliance directly. We hope this helps!
