on my TB240,which cable (drive cable or control cable) affects running speed of my mower? Thanks
Wayne

Hi Wayne, Thank you for your question. There are 2 cables listed for your lawn mower. The drive cable fastens the control lever assembly to the mower transmission. When the drive lever is pulled upward, the mower transmission is engaged. The control cable stops the blade when the control handle is released on walk-behind mowers. If the cable is broken it will cause the brake to not release even when the lever is pressed. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
