What is the cure for the motor surging?

Hello Gordy, Thank you for the question. Surging could be caused by water in the fuel. A mower left in a heavy rain or condensation on a hot summer day can cause this. Empty the gas tank, properly dispose of the old fuel and try a fresh batch of gasoline. We hope this helps!
