This is a genuine OEM mitre fence for a miter saw. When standing in front of the unit, this part fits the left side. Keep in mind that the right-side mitre fence is sold separately. The miter fence allows the operator to position and accurately guide the workpiece. Over time, the miter saw fence may get damaged or bent and will require replacement. This high-quality metal part does not include the hardware needed to secure it. The old hardware can be used, or you may need to order it separately.

Perfect replacement!
This replacement part was vital to getting my saw back into a safe and perfect fence alignment. The repair was a little tricky, the thumb lock mechanism that needs to be transferred is on a spring, DO NOT attempt to unscrew it as is, just push it down to allow the crew to turn.

Removed broken fence and replaced with new one . It was a little difficult to get stop screw and bracket from broken fence but the new fence went together easily.
