Compressor would continue to run because of bad regulator
Simple project -take off the the screws holding the manifold and the metal shroud-unhook the hoses connected-reattach the brass fittings with making sure you use thread tape-and screw it all back together. Fire it up and it worked like a charm. Easy as pie.

Air control knob had leak and wouldn't push in after adjustments
1. Pried clamp off manifold and pulled air hose off it.
2. Removed 4 - T30 screws that holds manifold to compressor.
3. Removed old man/reg and installed a new clamp on air hose and attached hose to man/reg. I tried a pex clamp but I didn't have one big enough. I used a small 1inch worm drive clamp.
4. Installed new manifold with 4 - T30 scews.
5. Started compressor and it build and held air like new!

I caused a problem that made the pressure adjustment valve leak
1. I used a screwdriver and removed the cover plate from the compressor.
2. I used the screwdriver and removed the old manifold regulator assembly from the cover plate
3. I used some pliers to remove the hose from the old manifold
4. The only part not available with the new manifold assembly was a 1/2 inch hose clamp that I used to reattach the pressure hose to the new manifold using a screwdriver.
5. Screwed the whole assembly back together and it works perfectly.

Regulator went out so replaced entire manifold.
Easy , you'll need a 1/2 inch hose clamp, attach the air line to the replacement manifold and replace hex screws and done! Every thing was in the package but that one 1/2inch hose clamp. If that was in the box it would be perfect.

    subpar parts quality.
got the part fast and the customer service was great however the manifold came with the gauges upside down and the posts for the screws were not threaded. Ended up using a tap to thread the posts and left the gauges upside down not knowing if I rotated them they would leak. Quality of the part is subpar.

    Dewalt compressor regulator.
I used standard shipping, which took longer than expected. Like 10 business days or something. I was renting a tool, to keep working. I guess I should have spent that money on next day shipping. Otherwise, part fit exactly as original, compressor works again like new!
