The surface of the knob-bump was worn out so I replaced it with a new one.

1. Removed the cap from the spool housing.
2. Removed the dual string spool.
3. Removed the string from the spool.
4. Removed the old knob-bump.
5. Installed the new knob-bump.
6. Installed the spool in the housing and replaced the spool cap.
7. Installed the string onto the spool and wound it on.
8. Tested the unit. It worked like brand new.
