    Lowered deck to replace worn belt and notice that pulley was bad order replacement. I really a applaud you all for having the Schematic to show the actual breakdown . This really helped in completing the task

    Somehow the hex flange nut on the mower blade came loose and the blade fell off.

    1) Removed mower deck from lawn tractor
    2) Cleaned all dead grass and debris from the mower deck
    3) Tightened new hex flange nut down on the spindle
    4) Reinstalled mower deck on to the lawn tractor
    5) Took lawn tractor out into yard and tester the mower blades for proper operation.

    use 1" socket to secure blades, slide deck under lawn tractor, hook up belt on front pulley, align holes and raise deck to fit, install cotter pins

    One blade came off and flange nut was lost

    There was no explanation why the one blade came off twice and the other blade did not when both were tightened the same. So I added a lock washer with the new flange nut and so far the blade is secure.
    p.s. The nut came as promised just in time so I missed no grass cuttings.

    Bearings wore out, allowed blade shaft to come out of housing damaging flange nut

    Remove deck from mower for better access to blades. Remove old flange nut with impact wrench. Install new flange nut being careful not to over torque the nut. Re-hang deck on mower.
