Product Information

Description:

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part is used with walk behind lawn mowers. This is the drive wheel which has plastic gears on the inside. It is designed to be driven by a pinion gear which is sold separately. If the wheel is broken or damaged it should be replaced to ensure smooth ride and consistent cut of the grass. Includes one (1) plastic wheel.

One front wheel not always engaging drive gears and inspection when wheel removed showed damage to many teeth.

New wheels have teeth that fully engage the drive gear. Replacement was as fast as a tire change at an Indy Race. Now drive great on both wheels which were replaced.

Drive wheels worn

Used a socket to remove the nuts securing the two front wheels on the spindle. Took the old wheels off and installed the new ones., then tightened up the nuts

The inside of the tire was worn

Remove the nut from the shaft, removed the old tire. Slid the new tire onto the shaft, then tightened the nut on the shaft

Remove front wheels by removing the nuts holding them on, then use the nuts to install the new wheels

Lawn mower needed 2 new front Wheels drive wheels

I used the Socket set tool to remove the old wheels, then I put on the new wheels and tightened them with the socket wrench. it was very easy to do.

Skirt just snapped in place, the wheels and blade were just a simple remove bolts and nuts and reinstalled

Plastic gears wore out

Removed left drive wheel, replaced attached nut and secure it, did the same with the right front wheel. Whew!!! It took about the same amount of time to perform that as typing this evaluation!
