Genuine Manufacturer Sourced replacement part designed for some Char-Broil Grills. This part has a Plastic Body and it is Sold Individually. Igniter switch G515-0030-W2 produces the spark to ignite the burner. It has Two (2) Inputs and Five (5) output connectors. Requires an AA battery (not included).

Tools Used:

Pliers, 1 cold beer

Grill wouldn't light

Remove battery from ignition unit (safety first),
Loosen nut on the outside panel.
Remove ignition unit, holding the protective cover so it doesn't fall (if it does, don't worry, it won't break),
Disconnect each lead from the old ignition unit, one by one, installing each on the new unit.
Install the new unit in reverse order,
Install a new battery, and make fire with the push of a button!

No spark to ignite grill

Unscrewed by hand the old igniter, pulled out the 7 wires and put them into the new igniter, then attached nut and tightened. Very simple and fast

Main Burner Electrode - G350-0064-W1

Main Burner For Firebox - 80029717

Infrared Emitter - 80021358

30-60 minutes

Tools Used:

Screwdriver, Pliers

Internals rusted out

Removed the grill grates and cleaned them
Removed the heat emitters and tossed them
Removed the flame tamers and cleaned them
Unplugged the burner electrodes and removed the rusted out burner tubes
Completely cleaned out the main box
Attached the new igniters to the new tubes and replaced the tubes
Ran the wires to the new ignition module and attached them
Attached the flame carryover tubes
Started the grill, testing each burner
Reset the flame tamers, heat emitters, and grill grates

Ignitor module gone bad

Removed the nut holding module to the grill and unplugged the wires and reversed installing the new module

Electronic Ignition Module and Battery Cap, F/ Electronic

I had to replace the Electronic Ignition Module and Battery Cap, F/ Electronic.
Both were corroded and will not ignite at the pilot.
No tools needed and all.
All I had to do was to unplug and plug back all the cables.
