    Removed handle half from sander, then removed switch. Remove cord wires from switch. Slid the new strain reliever on the new cord, attached the wires to the switch. Attached the switch to the switch handle, Assembled the handle assembly. Done

    1. Removed handle cover screws.
    2. Removed handle.
    3. Removed cord connection screws at switch.
    4. Removed old cord.
    5. Installed new cord and connected to switch.
    6. Reinstalled handle cover and screws.

    Cord worn and cut.

    Screwdriver, Pliers, Power Drill, Wire stripper and crimped.

    Parts Used
    1. Removed and replaced power cord with new cord.

    2. I had to strip cord to lengthen the Black, and white cords. The Porter Cable cord was not made up to exactly fit my Rockwell Circular saw. Everything worked out fine in the end.

    Opened up the saw removed the old cord and replaced it. As long as I had the saw opened up, cleaned it and checked other parts for wear. Put it all back together and it runs smoothly.

    Operator error, power cord got caught in belt sander

    Remove the left handle half
    Remove the cord clamp
    Remove the switch from the handle
    Remove the cord wires from the switch and the ground lead
    Slide the cord relief from the old cord and slid it on the new cord
    Connect the wires to the switch
    Screw on the cord clamp
    Screw the switch to the handle
    Attach handle to the sander

    Brushes were worn out and cord was partly cut

    1. Remove the brush caps.
    2. Remove the old brushes and install the new brushes.
    3. Replace the brush caps.
    4. Remove the top motor housing cap.
    5. Remove the cord clamp.
    6. Remove the cord wires from the switch.
    7. Slide the cord relief off of the old cord and put it on the new cord.
    8. Attach the new cord to the switch.
    9. Attach the cord clamp.
    10. Replace the top motor housing cap.
