This chain guide is an OEM part direct from Husqvarna. The plastic guide is fitted onto the chainsaw clutch cover assembly, and is sold individually. inspect, clean,lube & replace worn parts

removed chain guard, chain & chain bar, clutch, pin bearing sleeve, oil hose & any part that has been chaffed. cleaned out saw dust/oil build ups.replaced parts where needed.installed chain & bar. adjusted to. proper tension. lubed internal parts on the rebuild. gapped new spark plug & replaced. put in 50:1 gas mix & bar oil.
started up saw & checked bar oil spray on a piece of cardboard. good as new !!

Replaced brake band

Removed side plate, replaced clutch, replaced brake band, replaced chain guard and put everything back together.

Saw was not cutting in a straight path down, cutting at an angle

Removed the wear guard and chain wear guide with a phillips screwdriver.
Replaced the parts with new
Replaced the chain and clutch cover.
