Description:

Genuine Manufacturer Approved Carriage Bolt is a standard part that fits a variety of products. This part is sold individually and the Nut is not included. The square area under the head is designed to fit into a square hole in the work piece it measures 5/16-18 x .75. It is this square hole that restrains the bolt and keeps it from turning when the nut is tightened.

22" Shave Plate - Powder Black - 790-00117-0637

30-60 minutes

Screwdriver, Socket set, Wrench Set

Consumable parts were worn out

1. Removed 2 side shoes
2. Removed worn out shave plate
3. Installed new shave plate and bolts - tighten loosely
4. Install two side shoes - tighten loosely
5. Adjust height of side shoes
5. Tighten all carriage bolts with nylon lock nuts

Caution" Old shave plate may have a worn on sharper edge due to contact with side walk and or pavement. Suggest you use light gloves to mitigate cut hazard.

The shave plate was worn out and i decided to finally get a new one .

Took the old one out , very easy to do , some bolts and nuts and replaced with the new one i got from eReplacementParts , when in easy and the fit was perfect . Thanks !!!!!

Replacement plastic slide shoes wore too fast and slipped on blower. Shave plate wore excessively.

Removed the old shave plate, replaced the 4 mounting bolts that were worn down to the nuts,
Installed the two side bolts on each slide shoes.
