This is a genuine OEM replacement part used with Abu Garcia Ambassadeur fishing reels. The ball bearing 5500C 89-0 is fitted between the spool shims & lock and the clutch washer, securing the axle. This metal item is sold individually. A screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers are helpful with the installation.

1. Disassembled entire reel. (Recommend laying out drag washers in the order you take them off)
2. Determined problem & looked up parts list.
3. Ordered necessary parts.
4. Installed new parts, lubricated reel.
5. Reassembled reel.

Disassemble the reel to remove the spool and the spool bearings . Replaced the bearings on the spool and reassemble the reel .
