This replacement air cleaner cover is specially manufactured for use with Briggs and Stratton engines. It is a genuine part sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer. This is the cover which secures and protects the air filter in the filter base. It is made out of plastic and it is sold individually. Replacing this part does not require any tools.

I did quite a bit of searching before I found the part. After I did find the part, the site was like a treasury. The part was there, and I have it for future issues. This was all completed in a timely way, and I snapped it right in place !
Removed the gas line. Removed the air filter( the cover was missing) and then removed the carb cover and choke arm. Removed the carb and took off float cover. Using carb cleaner I cleaned the jet valve of debris and cleaned the inside of the carb and choke. Put everything back together. Gassed and checked oil. Mower started on second pull
