Product Description ?

This water inlet valve is compatible with various dishwasher models. It controls the flow of water into the dishwasher during its wash and rinse cycles by opening and closing the water supply as needed. This valve is sold as an individual part and does not include any clamps or additional accessories. It attaches underneath your dishwasher, where the water supply hoses for your appliance are located. If you notice any leaks from the bottom of your dishwasher, it is a clear sign that this valve or the solenoid is damaged or malfunctioning and must be inspected and replaced as necessary. To avoid future repairs, we recommend performing regular maintenance on your dishwasher, such as cleaning filters and checking water connections. When replacing this valve, you will need an adjustable wrench and socket wrench to disconnect and replace it from your dishwasher. For proper installation, we recommend applying Teflon tape to the threads of the new valve before tightening it securely.

I removed the screws that held the dishwasher to the counter, removed the bottom cover plate, turned off the water , pulled the dishwasher out far enough to reach the inlet valve(it's in the front left as you look at it) so I only pulled it out less then a foot. I disconnected the electric connector, removed the two screws that hold the valve to the dishwasher, disconnected the water supply. Reversed the procedure for installation. Very easy to do. took less then a half hour. Dishwasher works great, no more leak!
