    Belt replacment on Unisaw
An exact match for the stock part, old belts were still working but were cracked and dry so it was time. About the easiest parts replacement I've ever had to do. One locking bolt to unloosen, old belts off and new belts on in just a few minutes. All accessible through hinged door into the base of the saw.

Followed instructions in Delta Unisaw owners manual to replace belts. The new belts were Delta OEM replacements and the saw now runs very smooth. I've used eReplacementParts for a variety of other tools and never had a problem with the parts, shipping, or anything else.

Loosened up motor adjusting bolt pushed motor up and placed a block of wood behind it and cabinet side of saw to hold it up while i removed the old belts and replaced with the new ones then i pushed the motor up enough to get the block of wood out then while applying downward pressure on the motor to tighten the tension on the new belts i snugged the motor adjustment bolt checked the tension on the belt making sure they were tight enough then i tighten the bolt the rest of the way down no problems with it so far although i plan on checking the tension again in a couple months just in case they may stretch a little

Loosened motor tension bolt and raised motor to highest position (most slack on belts). Adjusted bevel and depth until belts would clear and replaced them. Back under saw I used a screw driver to tension the belts while I tightened the tension bolt. I ran the saw to check for slippage before putting it in production. It is important to purchase a true OEM replacement part as the belts are sized the same (matched set)..

It was fairly easy to change the belts. This is a Delta Unsaw 34-801, 1 1/2 hp.
    1. Raise the blade up a bit.
    2. Place a block between the cabinet and motor. Loosen the bolt on the motor.
    3. Remove the block. Lower the blade to loosen the belts.
    4. Remove the old belts.
    5. Install the new belts
    6. Pull the motor down to tighten the belts. Tighten the bolt. There should be about a 1/4" of slack.l cleaned the tension again a couple of days later.

Belts were worn so that they couldn't be adjusted anymore. The extra slop caused excessive vibration. Replacing the belts is pretty straight forward. Loosen motor mount, switch the 3 belts and using a bar to pry down on motor, apply a little tension on belts and tighten mounting bolt.
