This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced part which is specially designed for Honda lawn mowers. The V- belt connects it to the transmission pulley and the engine pulley to drive the mower forward. This part is made of rubber and is sold individually. You will need a socket wrench and a screw driver to aid you in this repair. Be sure to let the engine cool and unplug the wire and boot from the spark plug before completing this repair.

Tipped mower up with air cleaner up.Removed belt guard. Removed center bolt on shaft
Pressed off blade assembly using two jaw puller
Removed key from shaft
Pressed off drive pulley using two jaw puller
Applied anti-seize to motor shaft
Slid new drive pulley on shaft oriented properly on key way
Oriente d new belt on drive pulley and transmission pulley
Applied more anti-seize on shaft
Replaced woodruff key on shaft
Oriented blade assembly properly on key way
Tightened center bolt on shaft
Replaced metal guard and tightened the four bolts.
