This is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool Dryers and selected model Dishwashers. The Valve coil opens the gas valves while the dryer is running. This part is needed when the dryer may or may not heat, as coils go bad drying times get longer. Includes 2 coil valves, refer to your correct model for all other corresponding parts. You will need a Small flat head screwdriver or putty knife and also a Phillips screwdriver to replace this coil valve.

Removed the bracket holding the coils
Removed and replaced deFective coils with new coils
Tested dryer before putting it back together and it now worked fine
