Non-stick coating wore off grill plate

I should have just needed to unlock and remove the original plate, then snap in the replacement. The lock clip on the replacement plate needed to be bent 2 ways to secure it to the grill. I needed to do the same when I replaced the bottom plate using a plate from eReplacementParts. It was a simple fix that shouldn't have been neccessary. Someone else may not have figured it out and returned it as deffective.
