This is the upper boom shaft assembly that helps to drive the trimmer head. It is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with Ryobi string trimmers. This item is made from strong durable metal and it is sold individually. When attaching this part, if the button does not release completely in the positioning hole, the shafts are not locked into place. Slightly rotate from side to side until the button is locked into place.
