Electric motor burned up

1. Consulted exploded diagram of the grass trimmer model parts.
2. Removed screws from motor housing.
3. Pried the two halves apart.
4. Cut wires to motor.
5. Removed motor assembly.
6. Inserted new motor and tube assembly.

8. Disassembled handle being careful not to lose parts.
9. Disconnected motor wires with pliers and connected new wires.
10. Reassembled two halves of handle.
Comments: This took longer than necessary because I had to ascertain how to disassemble the components. To prevent stripping the threads, use a screwdriver to back a screw off until it clicks. Then, you can easily screw it back in. I used a heavy knife to pry the housings apart.
