Product Description ?

This is an authentic Ryobi replacement part, and is sold individually. The bandsaw tire is an essential part of the band saw. It keeps the blade tracking correctly on the wheel. Overtime the belt will become stretched or cracked and you will notice the blade not tracking properly. This would be the time to change it. It is advised to change both tires instead of just one. Parts were in a package that was undamaged. After receiving the parts I needed I took them out to my machine and they went right on and worked just like it was supposed to.

    Perfect
I tried numerous companies, even Ryobi who said this part was obsolete, before settling on yours. I ordered it and was informed that it would take 2-3 weeks (USA to UK). The tracking was very good, it told be where may part was and expected delivery. I would recommend this company to any body. Very slick, well organised and efficient. The product was easy to fit and means that I don't have to purchase a new band saw for a $10:00 part.

    Time

    15-30 minutes

    Tools Used

Screwdriver, Pliers, wooden dowel, my fingers, pot of hot water, and a wire brush

Using a screwdriver I pried off the top tire. The tire contact surfaces on both wheels were then cleaned using a wire brush while I soaked both tires in a pot of hot water making them more pliable. I placed a tire on the top wheel at the 12o'clock position and gently stretched the tire around the wheel with my thumb and fingers to slip it over the lip of the wheel and position the tire in place. A 1/4" dowel was then inserted between the wheel and tire and rotated around the wheel approximately three times to equalize the the pressure on the wheel from the stretched tire. The same procedure was used for the drive (bottom) tire.
