  • Great replacement part, a little more involved than anticipated to replace
This part works fantastically and saved me hundreds of dollars in repairs or simply a full unit replacement, which I'm super grateful for. Connecting the blue and red wires was a little more involved than I expected and took me a while to figure out though. I replaced the thermocoil in my Breville Barista Express, and Breville uses wire clamps that can't be removed without cutting and stripping some wires, so just be aware of that step in the process (I'm completely new to repairing anything, so that might be an assumed step, but it was the bottleneck for me). In as far as this part goes though, it works perfectly, fits perfectly, and was super easy to order/receive/figure out how to install.

    Exactly what I was expecting
Part works! Arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I'm a happy customer.

    Part was as advertised
Unfortunately it did not come with any documentation at all. Even a simple vector graphic document of how to remove the old one and put the new one in, aka an Ikea type instruction booklet would have been really useful.

Breville Espresso Machine internal boiler was completely clogged with calcium deposits

Probably the most challenging part of this repair was disassembling the espresso maker to gain access to the boiler.
It involved a bit of patience and removal of many screws, some of them in tight spaces.
The boiler replacement itself was an easy fix as it was fastened with a few screws, 2 small hoses and a few electrical connections.
I was totally impressed with the replacement part itself as it came fully assembled with all new sensors and wiring.
It also came with new o-rings and some new hairpin clips and parts to make it totally "plug and play".
This part was reasonably priced for all the items that came with it as these could have been offered as separate parts to add more cost.
Needless to say, this was a great repair experience and saved a $500 espresso machine from the trash!
My only advice on this repair would be to refer to an exploded parts diagram before you start to help facilitate disassembly.
