Choke was stuck in the open position. Engine hard to start.
Remove air filter cover, filter, and housing. Remove carburetor. Locate old thermo was unit with pliers. Insert new part. Reassemble. Start mower. Starts on first pull. Happy camper.
Remove carburetor (many YouTube videos explain how).
Remove old thermowax module with pliers.
Remove old choke control assy.
Also replaced carburetor.
Reinstalled carb and choke control with new gaskets.
