Correct Part
The part arrived quickly and fit perfect. It was also the updated version of the repair part I ordered. It was fairly easy to install, as I only had to remove the 2 bolts that hold the carburetor assembly in place to expose the thermo wax assembly.
Very pleased with this experience, and will order from eReplacement Parts again.

Found part on eReplacementParts.com at a fair price. Not sure if this part (16620-Z8D-842) will work with our lawn mower (HRN 216 VKA - GCV170) since it is not listed under compatible mowers. Part number was on a YouTube video. Have yet to replace thermo wax assy. since mower stopped surging after cleaning pilot jet on the carburetor. Several YouTube videos show how to clean pilot jet and replace thermo wax assy. Purchased extras (thermo wax assy.) since it appears this part wears out after some time.

Remove old thermowax module with pliers.
Remove old choke control assy.
Also replaced carburetor.

Remove air filter cover, filter, and housing. Remove carburetor. Locate old thermo was unit with pliers. Insert new part. Reassemble. Start mower. Starts on first pull. Happy camper.
