1.Remove wiring cover on motor housing, one screw . Breaker is attached to this with a thin nut.
2.Remove tape covering wire nuts. This will allow you to see the numbers on the wires.
3.Rearrange and wire nut wires according to diagram on inside of cover for 220 v. operation.
4.Retape wires and wire nut connections.
... Read morer />5.Pull spade connectors off of old (30 amp.) breaker.
6.Remove retaining nut from old breaker and pull breaker from housing. Save the breaker, you may want to switch back to 110 v. down the road.
7.Push new 15 amp. breaker into housing and fasten with thin nut.
8.Push spade connectors, removed in step 5, back onto new breaker terminals.
9.Replace wiring cover back onto motor housing.
