Rowenta has made this part to be used on multiple models of steamers. The Tank is made of a dense molded plastic and has a threaded neck to attach the Cap (part number RS-DC0009). The Tank needs to be replaced if it has become cracked or damaged in a way that it leaks water. No tools are used to replace this part.
