Switch and power supply circuit was bad,
With other work interruptions it took me longer to remove all of the screws holding the tool together than it took to replace the switch and power supply, put it all back together and another $200.00 tool was back in operation, about 15 minutes was all I needed.

3-loosen the 3 small flathead screws from existing switch one at a time, take note what wires go to what contact (or in my case I removed one at a time and attached to new switch before removing and attaching next wires from contact until old switch was no longer connected and new switch was completely connected to wires)
4-put back together screws in dust cover until it’s very tight and sealed
