The kit included most things necessary to replace the switch. Wire strippers are needed to crimp on the new ends of the wiring. Instructions were included, but hard to understand. But they are helpful. Anyone with any tool repair experience should be able to figure it out no problem though.

This switch kit contains a revised switch along with a new style handle assembly that is needed to retrofit the switch to older saws. Replacement is simply a matter of removing the old handle and switch assembly and reinstalling the new parts in the reverse order. The positions of the wires on the new switch are exactly the same as the ol d one. Once the new switch is in place, route the wires to it through the provided channels and cut the old ring terminals off right at the switch. This will leave the wires the proper length for you to strip about 1/4\" of insulation and crimp on the provided spade connectors. Push these onto the switch, check the wire placement to be sure nothing is going to get pinched, and you\'re ready to reinstall the handle top. Note that the new switch, unlike the old one, is only held to the handle bottom by one screw. The second hole if for the screw that comes down through the handle top half.

The instructions enclosed with replacement switch were printed so light they were not readable. Called and \"Richard\" directed me to a You-tube video produced by your company which talked me through the repair in minutes. The only other problem centered around the replacement handle. The original screws are too long for this handle, so I put spacers on each screw prior to attaching.

Disassembled per the instructions, had to remove the original power cord restraint as it would not fit in the new assemble of the handle. Wire diagram was good but very faded print, difficult to read. The unit now performs like new. Thanks for being there for us, I had the part in two days, the manufacturers service center did not have it in stock and told me a week to ten.

Only real problem was the instruction sheet was unreadable due to printing quality.
Look VERY close at the wiring connections on the switch. It is NOT a straight point to point connection. Two of the wires must be switched side to side.
Save the screws, some must be reused with the new handle.
