I accidentally sucked the safety switch from my Ridgid sander with my dust collector, So i could not start the machine up with out it. The piece came in the mail and took 5 sec. to replace the missing piece
1. Removed switch cover (switch attached to cover)
2. Removed wire clip to allow a bit more slack
3. Disconnected 4 (four) spade connectors from switch terminals (after taking reference picture!)
4. Popped switch out of cover (it\'s a snap-in switch)
5. Reversed process!!
Remove the switch by pushing down on the small plastic tabs on the top and bottom of the switch. Then remove it from the housing, Remove the wires from the old switch to the new switch one at a time as not to mix them up. Once this is done you can push the new switch back into the housing, then insert the key.
