  • exact replacement part for Makita gas blower
The part is an exact match for my Makita gas blower. Finding the parts needed were easy with the extensive parts diagrams available on ereplacement parts website. I've bought parts here in the past and continue to return due to the simplicity of finding the parts I need and the best prices on the web, even when factoring in the cost of shipping.

With a little effort the blower now works like new.
I ordered the switch and the manual throttle lever for my Makita. I use this blower extensively during hay season to keep my machines clean so it gets beat up in the back of the truck. The parts are a perfect fit and I was up and running in two cups of coffee.

    PART FIT PERFECTLY!
I had to replace the switch for my Makita because I foolishly dropped the machine. This part was a perfect fit, priced well, and arrived quickly, even during the pandemic! I highly recommend and would certainly order from this company again.

Removed the screws on the side body of the blower and lifted off the engine housing to allow switch body and slide to be removed. When I saw how far I had to reach to replace the full switch I simply replaced the red plastic slide and re-assembled the unit. Has worked well so far.

I dismantled outer body of the blower to get to the switch. Must remove pull start assy. Open top of the handle with screwdriver find switch remove switch from handle housing unplug the two wires to the old switch discard it.. reassemble in reverse order making sure switch wire don't get pinched and throttle cable is fine. put body housing back together and pull start assy. tighten all fasteners and make sure pullstart assy works. Check work by starting and stopping blower..

After replacing the possible suspects, full filter, spark plug the blower still wouldn't start. I then found this Replacement Parts.com website and it stated "29% of the time the problem is the "Kill Switch" so I ordered and installed a new Kill Switch and it started on the first pull.....Yay! You can gain access to the Kill Switch by removing the housing but un connecting and reconnecting the wires took a little MacGyvering. Good Luck
