This replacement switch is a genuine item sourced directly from manufacturer. It is an important item that handles on and off function of a unit, allowing user to control the tool. Switches have moving mechanical parts. These parts will eventually break down and fail requiring replacement. Please note the switch is sold individually. Replacing this item is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver. • Remove the housing screws • Remove housing/cover • Disconnect wires from the old switch • Replace old switch with a new one • Reconnect wires • Reassemble and test the unit
Trigger switch was broke. That repair was easy however I found the threaded inserts in the handle had cracked the handle and required additional attention.
Remove the screws holding the handle together
Remove the switch
Disconnect the wires on the switch
Connect the wires to the new switch
Place back into the handle
Replace the screws into the handle
