I destroyed the original fence when I cut through a board and hit a nail that I didn't know was in the board. It blew the board out the back of the saw and tore the aluminum fence apart (completely)

    Difficulty

    Easy

    Time

    Less than 15 minutes

    Tools Used

Screwdriver, Wrench Set, Square, 4 ft. Level

I first loosely attached one side of the main fence and snugged the bolts finger tight. Next I lowered the blade and squared (used my framing square) the fence with the blade, then tightened the bolts. Next I loosely attached the opposite fence and snugged the bolts finger tight. I placed my 4 ft level across both halves of the fence and aligned the second half with the first, then tightened the bolts. Then I installed the two sub-fences. Super easy and took less than 15 minutes.
