Lawn mower pull rope broke & the belt for the self propel was stretched out

Put the new rope through the ring on the mower handle.
Then attached it to the spring wound assembly and carefully removed the screwdriver as the spring will pull the new rope in.
Reattach the pull starter assembly back on the mower.
I crimped the new lead stop on the mower rope.
The next thing that I did was change the belt on the self propel pulleys.

Replace worn out starter rope and pull handle,

2 Pulled rope all the way out and held fully extended
3 Cut knot on old rope and discarded it then threaded new rope with handle installed, tied knot and let the rope slow retract in
4 Place new stop in to position and crimped on to rope.
5 Take plastic cover of drive belt( 1 screw on mine) remove bolt that hold cable then remove and replaced traction cable, adjusted to proper position to engage drive belt. after complete put cover back over drive belt
Very simple repair, just need to pay attention to how you disassemble to make sure everything aligns with out interference.
Handle knobs just remove old one and spin new ones on.
