This is an eight (8) pin sprocket compatible with some Ryobi planers. It is a genuine part produced by original manufacturer. Sprockets engage and drive chains or gears. They are designed for high wear and need replacement regularly. Sold individually.

1.Dismantled the top and side to see inside.
2.Removed drive belt and chains and broken gears.
3.Cleaned chains to unfreeze them and found the chassis had cracked and broken in half.
4.Stared the reassemble with the gears and drive belt. the latter was just a exercise of muscles to get it on.
