Drum-Clutch Replacement
Stuff nylon rope into the spark plug socket to prevent shaft rotation. Make a special tool to remove old drum-clutch. Drill 3 holes in a plate on a 5/8 diameter circle and press in 3/16 dowel pins in to make a 3 point spanner. Use a large wrench to turn the plate. Or buy a special tool made for this purpose, You will definitely need the tool to remove the drum clutch. Once you have the clutch drum removed. The rest of the repair is straightforward.

clutch sprocket gears worn chain came off
removed pulley cover, removed nut on flywheel gently pryed off flywheel.then removed sparkplug and put peice of rope in cilinder to keep shaft from moveing while i taped clutch drum clockwise because of reverse thread on shaft,with a flat punch. there is a key pin on flywheel to line up when puting back on.there is a socket you can buy to remove drum but i never had to get one . just dont go crasy with the hammer when you tap it loose.
