This is an authentic Hamilton Beach replacement part used in some models of their commercial coffee pots. This plastic spout handle is designed to be pushed with cup to release coffee/liquid from spout. It attaches onto the faucet and sits below it. Sold individually. Note that this handle is also sold attached to faucet part # 990044200.

Replaced the spout (the little pieces that held it in place had broken). It was easily done once we emptied the coffee pot and were able to tip it on its side for easier leverage. A flashlight was also helpful to be able to see clearly.
Snapped the new one into place but it took about 15 minutes of trying to get it to slip into place - not sure why I was having problems with it. But once on, worked fine. No tools used.
