Need help finding your model number?This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with Hitachi electric drills. The special screw is reverse threaded and used to fasten the chuck to the spindle. A flat head screwdriver is required to install this special screw, please note loctite is often used to fasten this type of screw so removal of the old screw may be difficult and damage to the spindle may occur. This screw is a versatile part and is compatible with different models of drills, please see model diagram for associative parts such as the chuck or spindle.
